The Adventures of Saxon - Book Reviews

When young Saxon arrives on the farm, he’s not quite sure where he will fit in.  His red fur is different from the other farm dog’s coat and he doesn’t have a long, bushy tail like the fox.  Are his legs even long enough to run fast?   With a little help from Mr. Owl, Saxon learns to stop focusing on what he is not and to be proud of exactly who he is.  The Adventures of Saxon is sure to appeal to any child who has ever dared to be different.  The interplay of words and art creates a lovely story of self-acceptance and pride and inspires young readers to believe that it’s cool to be different!

'The Adventures of Saxon' is a really sweet little book that inspires understanding and self esteem! Daring to be different is a wonderful message to instil in our children, both at home and at school! Being unique is special and Saxon teaches us it's great to be different and how to embrace that both within ourselves and the people we share our world with! A really lovely story with a great moral that everyone can relate to!

Saxon has become a firm favourite with our three year old who takes his copy everywhere! The book is fun, colourful and the illustrations are just too cute! I just know you'll fall in love with Saxon and his adventures too!
